Meet the Team Bringing the Summer Magic to Kiddo Club
Our team is the heart of Kiddo Club. Every single person working with us this summer brings experience, energy and a genuine love for working with children. They’re all fully DBS-checked, and throughout the year they take part in regular training in safeguarding, behaviour management, first aid and more.
But qualifications aside, they’re just brilliant people. They lead epic games of rounders, untangle embroidery floss for bracelet making, and somehow always know where the missing glue stick is. They notice when someone’s proud of their project and hold it up for everyone to see. They get excited about seed planting, cheer on Quidditch teams like it’s a world final, and find joy in every little moment of the day.
We’ve brought together a fantastic group of creative, kind and capable people who are ready to make this summer something special. And we can’t wait for you and your child to meet them, if you haven’t already.
The Team Leading the Way
Abi Baxter
Abi brings calm, care and quiet confidence to everything she does. She’s the one who’ll notice a child’s new backpack and ask them about it, or quietly check in with someone who needs a little encouragement to join in. She has a real gift for helping children feel safe and seen. Abi is also the friendly face you’ll often see on the gate each morning, offering a warm welcome and setting the tone for a great day ahead.
Chantale Hughes
Chantale is the one who always seems to know what’s happening everywhere at once. She’s the master of the behind-the-scenes magic, but also right there for the big group games and the small wins. She’s the person who can solve a missing paintbrush mystery, redirect a game of dodgeball, and still remember who wanted to finish their craft from yesterday. She keeps everything flowing and fun from start to finish.
Hayley Cherubini
Hayley brings sunshine. She jumps into dance games, helps children finish their crafts with flair, and makes every child feel like the main character in their own story. Whether she’s helping design superhero capes or leading a mini sports tournament, she brings energy, kindness and loads of encouragement. Kids adore her, and so do we.
The Rest of the Dream Team
Chanel Vincent
Chanel is the organiser. She’s the one who quietly keeps things ticking along, always a step ahead of what’s needed next. Whether it’s getting the next activity set up, sorting resources or jumping in to help someone with a job, she makes things happen behind the scenes so the fun never has to stop. She’s calm, capable and brilliant at juggling ten things at once without ever seeming flustered. The whole team knows that if something needs doing, Chanel’s already on it.
Pennie Skyes
Pennie is our steady hand and quiet cheerleader. She’s the person who always spots the child who wants to help carry something or needs a bit of extra time with their project. She’s warm, thoughtful and fantastic at creating a calm rhythm in the middle of all the excitement. Everything just feels a little more settled when Pennie’s around.
Imran Jehangir
Imran is a master of conversation and a champion of garden games. One moment he’s chatting with a child about what they’re growing at home, and the next he’s leading a team through a game of cricket or setting up the watering cans for afternoon planting. He brings calm energy, real curiosity and a gift for making children feel listened to.
Kia Deakin
Kia is our bracelet queen. She can help a group of children thread, tie, loop and create something beautiful while also chatting about pets, snacks and holiday plans. Her embroidery station is always a hub of quiet concentration and lovely conversation. She’s creative, patient and quietly magical in how she helps children finish what they started with a big sense of pride.
Izzy Simmons
Izzy brings a gentle kind of energy. She’s full of enthusiasm, but in that quietly confident way that draws children in without overwhelming them. You’ll find her getting a game going with a small group, offering encouragement during craft time, or adding just the right spark to a dance break. She has a real talent for lifting the mood and helping everyone feel included, all without raising her voice or needing to be the loudest in the room.
Our Junior Helpers
Isaac, Oliver and William will be with us throughout the summer, working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. From setting up art materials in the morning to helping tidy and restock between sessions, they’re an important part of the team. They bring positivity, focus and a real sense of teamwork — and we couldn’t do it without them.
We’re so proud of this team. Every single one of them brings something unique, and together they’ve created a summer experience full of play, creativity and connection.
If you see them at drop-off or pick-up, please do say hello. Your child is in truly brilliant hands.
