Here’s What Summer 2025 at Kiddo Club Will Look Like
There’s something special about the rhythm of a day at Kiddo Club. It starts simply, with a warm welcome, a bit of colouring, a chat, a game. But what follows is five weeks of creative, hands-on days full of colour, movement, discovery and joy.
This summer, we’ve planned a line-up of activities that gives children space to try new things, explore their interests and have the kind of fun that sticks with them long after the day ends.
They’ll be making watercolour leaf prints, leafy splatter paintings, bubble wrap prints and dot art mosaics. They’ll create with nature, turning stones into pebble gnomes and ants, building bee sun catchers and decorating glowing firefly skies. They’ll craft treasure bowls, carnival masks, wild nature salt paintings and more. Some things they’ll take home. Some things they’ll remember just because it was fun.
Every day includes a creative activity, a nature walk, time in the garden and a big game to end the day. There’s rounders, kinball, foam fencing, cricket and our now-traditional Friday match of Kiddo Quidditch. The focus is on energy, teamwork and enjoyment. No pressure, no competition, just movement that makes you feel good.
Our daily nature walks are a chance to explore, collect, notice and breathe. Sometimes we use what we find in our art. Sometimes we don’t. Either way, it’s a pause in the day that brings everything back to the outdoors.
Gardening is another part of our daily rhythm. It’s simple and hands-on. Children will help with watering, weeding, planting and checking in on how things are growing. Some love it straight away. Others take a little longer. Either way, it gives them something small and steady to be part of.
We’ve also included activities that get children thinking, building and experimenting. From buzzing plant pots to leaf print pencil cases and nature-based construction challenges, there are plenty of moments where STEM ideas come to life in a way that feels playful and relaxed.
Across the five weeks, no two days are the same, but the feeling is. Every child is welcome. Every day is full. And every activity is designed to give children the freedom to be themselves.
They’ll come home with messy hands, handmade treasures and new stories to tell. Some days they’ll bring back a pebble keyring or a pressed leaf. Other days they’ll come back with something quieter. A bit more confidence. A new friend. A memory that will last.
That’s what summer at Kiddo Club is all about.
And we cannot wait to get started.
